ABOUT DR. DERICK my Derick, M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist practicing both medical and cosmetic dermatology at her practice in Barrington, Illinois.

Dr. Derick received a B.S. degree summa cum laude from the University of Notre Dame.

She then received her medical degree with honors from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. Following an internship at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Dr. Derick completed a Dermatology residency at the University of Chicago Hospitals, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year.

Dr. Derick has published several scholarly articles and her work has been featured in national media sources such as CNN , The View and The Wall Street Journal . She has also been featured as an expert in cosmetic dermatology on NBC News .
