Recipe Book You will need: -5 x 14.5x9.5cm pieces of chipboard -Recipe Bubbalicious chipboard word -Autumn Sweet 12 d x 12 d papers -Seasoned Ribbons 3 Natural -12 d x 12 d Melissa Frances Vintage Cutouts -2 x Copper Book Rings -Notepaper -Black Pen -Double Sided Tape -PVA Glue -Brush -Scissors -Craft Knife -Blue Acrylic Paint -Heavy Duty Hole Punch -Paper Clips -File Dividers -Brown Brad To create your book: Trim 0.5cm off the longest length of 3 of your chipboard pieces. Using a file divider, drawn round the tab down the right side of your smaller chipboard piece. Cut out the tab using a craft knife.
Repeat this on the other two smaller chipboard pieces so that you have 3 dividers with the tabs in different places on the right side. Round all the corners of your 5 chipboard pieces. (To finish your book you will punch holes in the left sides but this is better done once they are decorated.) To decorate the front cover: Paint the recipe chipboard word in the pale blue paint, making sure that all the edges are covered in paint.

Stick a piece of spotted ribbon across the cover overlapping it underneath.<br><br> Stick three of the vintage cutouts across the top left and stick your recipe chipboard diagonally across the cover so that it slightly overlaps the edges. To neaten the back, cut a piece of matching paper slightly smaller than the cover. Again, trimming round the edges with a craft knife. Cut out the letters from the vintage sheet.<br><br> Stick them across where the tab is. Add 2 vintage pictures. Using a brad, loop the blue ribbon three times as shown.<br><br> Stick this in place. To decorate the main divider: Cover with striped autumn sweet paper. Add the lettering to the top right of the divider.<br><br> Stick two lengths of ribbon across the bottom 3 this time trimming at the edges so that they don't overlap underneath. Stick the 'Sam's diner' picture across the ribbons. To create the dessert divider: Cover the divider with the squares pattern autumn sweet paper.<br><br> Stick a length of brown stitched ribbon across the top, trimmed at the edge of the divider. Add three vintage pictures across the bottom and add the lettering where the tab is. The back cover: Cover the back with the same paper as your front cover.<br><br> To create the pages: Cut pieces of patterned paper to 13 x 8cm. To put your book together: Join your album together by punching two holes in each page, divider and cover on the left side and joining them all together using the copper book rings. To decorate your pages: You can paint onto your pages to create areas where you can add writing, stick pictures in, use paper clips to hold pieces of paper or pictures to your pages, add doodling to add extra touches, staple ribbon pieces to add tabs to your favourite recipes or write in white pen on dark papers.<br><br> Ideas: The page above has been painted in the centre to create a space to write on. A coloured paper clip has been used to hold a picture to the page. The page on the right has been painted down the left to write the name and ingredients list.<br><br> The instructions have been written on a piece of notepaper, then folded up and held to the page using a paper clip. You could add ideas for meal plans as well as recipes under another divider. Add in as many pages and dividers as is needed.<br><br> You could fill it with family recipes and then give it to a parent, grandparent or child as a gift.
