Under no circumstances can EURO PANELS OVERSEAS be held liable for applications which have not been approved by EURO PANELS OVERSEAS DURIPANEL-PIL-EPO-ENG 4/5 13/03/08 Fixing accessories: The material of the fixing accessories (e.g. stainless steel, galvanized steel, phosphated steel) is chosen dependent on the application and the environment.

1) Gluing (concealed fixing): DURIPANEL can be fixed with adhesive for interior applications only. The adhesive is to be used in accordance with the application guidelines and guarantee conditions of the manufacturer. Further information is available from EURO PANELS OVERSEAS 2) Screwing: Most kinds of standard screws can be used.

The final finish of the panel 9s surface will determine the type of screw to be used. 3) Nailing: Pneumatic nailing Hand nailing with nails with flat head The head of the nail should not be driven too deeply into the sheet. Pre-drilling is not required when nailing, either pneumatic or by hand.

4) Stapling: Automatic stapling The back of the staple should not be driven too deeply into the sheet. Joint finishing: It is recommended to use synthetic joint filling products to finish joints between sheets. To avoid cracks, the supporting structure should be dimensionally stable and excessive thermal or moisture movement should be avoided.

Caulking: Only use neutral mastics. Coating : In case of surface finishing, alkali resistant paint should be used e.g. acrylic paint.

Please consult your paint supplier for further details. Health and safety aspects : While the sheets are being processed, dust can be released which can irritate airways and eyes. It is recommended that a dust mask and safety goggles be worn.

Appropriate dust extraction or proper ventilation should be used depending on the room in which the work is being carried out or the equipment being used. Long-term exposure to dust can be harmful to health. 10.

Handling (see also working guidelines EURO PANELS OVERSEAS flat sheets) The sheets are packed on pallets. They must be kept dry during transport. The sheets must be horizontally stacked on a flat surface.

The sheets must always be sufficiently supported so that they do not sag. The sheets must be stored in a dry ventilated space. If the sheets are stored outside, they must always be protected against rain by a tarpaulin or plastic sheet.

If the sheets do become wet in the packing, all packaging must be removed and the sheets must be wiped dry and placed in a way that they can dry completely. A sheet must always be lifted from a stack by two people and then be carried on edge. 11.

Guarantee The guarantee and the guarantee conditions are available on request from EURO PANELS EURO PANELS OVERSEAS N.V.
