Drilling without hammer!! " For circular openings: hole saw or circular cutter, tungsten carbide-tipped.

The CEDRAL should be supported around the hole to be drilled (e.g. by a wooden board). !

Cutting and drilling must take place in a dry environment. All dust must be removed immediately from the CEDRAL with a dry towel to avoid permanent stains. Fixing accessories: Copper accessories should not be used for fixing CEDRAL.

The material of the fixing accessories (e.g. stainless steel, galvanized steel, phosphated steel) is chosen dependent on the application and the environment. 1) Gluing (concealed fixing): CEDRAL cannot be glued for exterior applications.

2) Screwing: Screws with countersunk head, milling wings on the head and special drilling point. Can be screwed directly without pre-drilling. Automatic screwing is also possible.

3) Nailing: Automatic or manual nailing with nails with flat head and ringed shank. Can be nailed directly without pre-drilling. The head of the nail should not be driven into the CEDRAL.

Caulking: Only use neutral mastics. Non-neutral silicones or thiokols can result in staining. CEDRAL-PIL-EPO-ENG 4/4 13/03/08 Touching up: On request, touch-up paint can be supplied.

Coating: CEDRAL S00 can be finished with a primer and topcoat for exterior use with water-based acrylic finish. When repainting CEDRAL it must first be sanded slightly before applying a new topcoat.
