6 MacDon Parts Council Meeting Submitted by Karl Brooks n March 8th, 2005 Macdon Industries Ltd. in Winnipeg was the site of our 6th U.S. Dealer Parts Council Meeting.
The Parts Council group is a cross section of U.S. Dealer Parts Personnel nominated from all across our U.S. Dealer network.
They represent different major ag company dealerships such as Agco, CNH and John Deere. The Parts Council members were given a complete factory tour of MacDon Manufacturing Facilities and MacDon Parts Department. At the 2004 Parts Council Meeting the message was clear that we needed to pursue an electronic type of parts catalogs for our U.S.
Dealer Group. The prime purpose of this year 9s meeting was to introduce our web based catalog system that we have partnered with ARI Company of Milwaukee, WI. Jon Cook (Director of IT) and Bob Harrold with ARI demonstrated this new system for finding repair parts for MacDon built equipment.
The Parts Council Representatives then had the opportunity to try hands on the new system at the 590 Moray Street computer lab. There was excellent two way dialogue on the new program and the Council 9s comments were noted by Bob Harrold of ARI to refine the program ... more. less.
prior to an all dealer launch expected in the spring of 2005. The second day of meetings was an open round table of any issues that the Dealer Parts Council would like to discuss with MacDon.

This portion of the program was chaired by Joe Roe, President of the Parts Council and Kendal Walhof, Secretary of the Parts Council. Both the Dealer reps and MacDon reps found the short session to be informative and an excellent venue to discuss common parts related issues and cannot wait for full deployment of this new system. Joe Roe (President) and Kendal Walhof (Secretary) were re-elected by the Dealer Parts Council to serve at future Parts Council meetings.

Thanks to all of the Dealership personnel who were away from their dealership for 3 days to help make the event a success! A special thanks to all MacDon personnel that helped arrange the program from tours to meals, etc. 2005 PARTS COUNCIL REPRESENTATIVES: Name Dealership City Joe W.

Roe Central Machinery Pasco, WA Kendal S.
