of the recommendations made by the various Strategic Plan committees to better serve the public since most recommendations will cost little or nothing to implement. Although this is the final meeting of the Public Service and Trust Commission, the Branch will continue to seek their input throughout the implementation of the Strategic Plan.<br><br> Chief Justice Rogers expressed her sincere appreciation to each member for their service on the Commission. 2. Judge DiPentima called for a motion to approve the minutes of the January 29, 2009 meeting of the Public Service and Trust Commission.<br><br> Upon motion and second, the minutes were unanimously approved. 3. Each Commission member received a copy of two reports that detail the implementation of the Strategic Plan.<br><br> Judge Carroll referred the Commission members to the 2009 Phase One Implementation Report, which was released in June of 2009. This report is a summary of the findings of the committees and workgroups who were charged with making recommendations for twenty-seven of the Strategic Plan 9s thirty-six initiatives. The Chief Justice evaluated every recommendation and approved most of them for implementation.<br><br> Judge Carroll highlighted some of those recommendations, many of which are already in the process of being implemented. 4. Judge Quinn described in detail the 2009 Phase Two Implementation Report, which was released in September of 2009.<br><br> This report summarizes the status of the phase one initiatives and includes a section that describes the eleven new initiatives that the Branch will address to enhance public service. While the Branch is implementing the recommendations of the phase one initiatives, new committees and workgroups will be formed to make recommendations to address the phase two initiatives of the Strategic Plan. Judge Quinn described some of those new initiatives of the Strategic Plan.<br><br> 5. Judge DiPentima stated that although this meeting is the final meeting of the Public Service and Trust Commission, the oversight of the ongoing strategic planning process will continue through the creation of a Strategic Plan Assessment Committee, which she will chair as requested by Chief Justice Rogers. The Strategic Plan Assessment Committee has been given the charge of four tasks: assess the changes in the Branch 9s environment and recommend modifications to the Strategic Plan to respond to those changes; evaluate the effectiveness of implementation of the Strategic Plan by developing and monitoring performance measures; recommend methods to incorporate the Strategic Plan into the culture of the Branch and among the judges and staff; and report annually to the Chief Justice on the progress of implementation and the Branch 9s efforts meeting the Strategic Plan 9s goals.<br><br> 6. Judge Quinn distributed certificates of appreciation to each Commission member and expressed the Branch 9s sincerest appreciation for their time and efforts. 7.<br><br> Judge DiPentima adjourned the meeting at 4:00 P.M.
