She said over time this sign has gotten very big and has evolved into a very busy sign.

Mr. Lindemann said the sign could be 72 sq. ft.

and 12 feet tall. Mr. Thron said when the original sign was approved, there was landscaping around it and that has since been removed.

He said with this sign so close to the ground, there would be no visibility to the part of the sign she is requesting and there is no organization to the sign. Ms.

Burstein said the sign is too busy and she did not think it would help to add more signage to it. Ms. Buchanan said if the City is taking away the sandwich boards, this sign will be her only way to advertise.

Mr. Loomer said the sign is too low and if the sign said cBarber & Salon/Buffet d he would not understand the sign. He said he believed the signage was over the allotted square footage.

Mr. Thron said there is a problem with the sign and the sign should not grow any larger. Mr.

Loomer said that it should be verified if the sign falls within Code. He said that most signs are on a base and this one goes right to the dirt. He said it is not pretty and the Board 9s job is to see that the sign is aesthetically pleasing.

Ms. Buchanan asked if the Board would consider another option. She said she could take out the words cTake and Eat d at the top of the sign and add the word cBuffet. d She would not add any new area to the sign.

Moved (Corbin/Wood ) to approve that the words cBuck 9s Take and Eat d be replaced to cBuck 9s Buffet d with the condition that the font and size remain the same.
