Dreamcatchers is a Napa county nonprofit employment training program.We provide education,training,support and assistance for adults with limitations and disabilities and youth transitioning into adulthood without job skills. At Dreamcatchers they become empowered to face the future with skills and confidence.<br><br> SERVICE NETWORK Dreamcatchers works in collaboration with the following organizations and agencies to provide the necessary services to give our clients the opportunity to become permanently employed: " Department of Rehabilitation " Job Connection " Napa Valley Unified School District " Work Investment Board (The One Stop Partners) " Napa County Health and Human Services " Small Business Association " Napa Chamber of Commerce SERVICES TO CLIENTS AND LOCAL BUSINESSES Dreamcatchers help clients explore vocations in cooperation with local businesses.We assess the client 9s employment strengths and weaknesses within a supportive and controlled environment.We measure basic work skills,work habits,work tolerances,work behaviors and interpersonal skills in a simulated environment. After a client chooses a vocational goal we provide specific job training, education,transportation,clothing and behavior adjustment training in order to make our clients employable in the competitive marketplace. EMPLOYER INCENTIVES Dreamcatchers works with over forty local employers and agencies to place our clients in real work environments.<br><br> We cover clients 9salaries and workers compensation insurance for an agreed number of hours (usually up to 40 hours).Job coaches ensure work safety, quality and quantity. Employers have the opportunity to experience the clients 9capabilities and contributions during this internship with the possibility of long-term employees after this experience.The majority of the funding for this comes from government agencies. cDreams and their attainment are upward and onward at Dreamcatchers. d<br><br>
