ANIMAL NUTRITION CENTER CAL POLY, SAN LUIS OBISPO LEARNING FEED BY DOING FEED Andrew Thulin and Buster Freeman CAL POLY, ANIMAL SCIENCE DEPARTMENT cThe Cal Poly Animal Nutrition Center will enhance our learn by doing philosophy and allow us to build on an already successful animal nutrition and feed manufacturing program. Students will be trained using leading-edge equipment for manufacturing all types of animal feed products. Our public-private partnerships will bring industry researchers and manufacturers worldwide to utilize this center for product development, processing research, quality control and food safety testing, as well as industry training sessions.
