Ashe County Free Medical Clinic 1 st Annual Golf Tournament May 15, 2008 Jefferson Landing Jefferson, North Carolina Ashe County Free Medical Clinic, Inc. began as a vision of the Ashe Outreach Ministries and Clifton United Methodist Church. Awarded a Duke Divinity School grant in 2005, this faith-based, interdenominational, all-volunteer community outpatient medical clinic for the uninsured of Ashe County opened its doors in July 2006.

Individuals who live or work in Ashe County with no form of medical insurance can be eligible by meeting these three criteria: 1. Residents and workers in Ashe County between ages of 19 and 64 2. Without employer or private health insurance, VA benefits, Medicaid, Medicare or other health benefits 3.

Limited total family income.
