Norbert College manages all Internet traffic coming to and from the College, to ensure that our Internet connection supports the educational mission of the College. The College does not block any types of Internet traffic or activity. Internet traffic that cannot be identified is given a low priority and a limited amount of capacity.

There is often significant competition for the space in this cunidentified d traffic category, which can potentially result in slow response times and connection difficulties. Online Gaming Online gaming is not prohibited or blocked in the residence halls or any other campus location, but it is not considered high-priority Internet traffic.

The exact type of traffic associated with online gaming services varies, but it generally falls into one of the low-priority categories of Internet traffic. Gaming traffic competes with other types of low-priority Internet traffic, and some gaming sites may not work well in such competitive environments. You may be able to connect to those sites at times when there is less Internet traffic in the residence halls. St.<br><br> Norbert College does not guarantee access to online gaming sites 3 or to any other Internet site 3 and cannot be held responsible for any difficulty in using online gaming or other Internet-based recreational services.
