MONMOUTH COUNTY PARK SYSTEM THOMPSON PARK DAY ARTS AND CRAFTS SALE THOMPSON PARK DAY Sunday, October 18, 2009 Thompson Park Newman Springs Road Lincroft, NJ SET-UP: 9:00-10:30 AM EVENT TIME:11 AM - 5 PM REMOVAL TIME: 5:00-6:30 PM PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY: QUALIFICATIONS : The show is open to all artists and crafts persons, professional or amateur, displaying original work. NO COMMERCIALLY PURCHASED MERCHANDISE, KIT WORK, ART WORK COPIES, NUMBERED PAINTINGS, FLEA MARKET ITEMS, OR EDIBLE PRODUCTS WILL BE ALLOWED. To enforce this policy and to ensure a quality show, we will require three (3) photographs (no slides, please) of your work to accompany each application.

APPLICANTS WHO DO NOT SUBMIT PHOTOGRAPHS WILL BE DENIED ENTRY TO THE SHOWS. Photographs will be returned only if accompanied by a self-addressed, stamped envelope. THE MONMOUTH COUNTY PARK SYSTEM RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DENY ENTRY TO ANY EXHIBITOR WHOSE WORK IS DETERMINED TO BE UNACCEPTABLE OR REMOVE ANY EXHIBITOR NOT DISPLAYING THEIR OWN ORIGINALLY CRAFTED WORK.

SPACE ALLOCATION : All spaces are OUTDOORS and will be assigned in advance. Each space is 10x10 and the fee is $45.00. THE MONMOUTH COUNTY PARK SYSTEM RESERVES THE RIGHT TO LIMIT THE NUMBER OF CRAFTS PEOPLE DISPLAYING ... more. less.

A PARTICULAR TYPE OF WORK TO ACHIEVE A WELL-BALANCED AND EVENLY REPRESENTED SHOW. IMPORTANT NOTE: Crafters must account for the total dimension of their display. No extension into adjacent space will be permitted and the display may not extend more than 10 feet from the fence. PARKING : Parking will be available in an area adjacent to the sales area. Vendors will be allowed to drive up to their booth and unload. APPLICATION PROCEDURE : All applications must be returned with the appropriate fee by mail or in person by October 9, 2009. NO PHONE REGISTRATION. 1. Application must be completed, signed and dated. 2. A check for $45.00 per space made out to "Monmouth County Board of Recreation Commissioners" must accompany application. 3. Three (3) photographs of your work must accompany application. If you wish to have your photographs returned, you must send a self-addressed, stamped envelope also. 4. Applications must be mailed with check to: Arts and Crafts Sale, Monmouth County Park System, Newman Springs Road, Lincroft, NJ 07738, Attn: Al Weaver. CANCELLATION : The Monmouth County Park System reserves the right to cancel a scheduled display date in case of severe inclement weather. In that event a full refund will be given; however, our events usually take place rain or shine. Please be prepared with some type of shelter in case of inclement weather.
