126 201-489-9454 End date: Sept. 26, 2008 Financial Management Workshop for Non-Profits Offered North Jersey 4Financial management is the key to planning and directing every aspect of an organization 4 including people, programs, facilities, fundraising and technology. The Non-Profit Training and Resource Center of the Volunteer Center of Bergen County will present a half-day workshop, Fundamental Financial Management for Non-Profits , on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Center 9s offices at 64 Passaic Street in Hackensack.

The fee is $35.00 and includes all program materials and continental breakfast. Rosemary Ervin, CPA, from The Hunter Group will cover the basics, in this course designed for non-profit board members and professional staff with little or no accounting experience, and need a working knowledge of financial processes. Board members in particular will benefit from this class, as they are charged with the financial oversight of non-profit agencies.
