NYC and a post-XP Windows release sound familiar it is because chances are that you lived through the Windows Vista launch. Back in 2007, on January 30, Steve Ballmer launched Windows Vista in the New York Best Buy, on 529 5th Ave. (44th St.<br><br> and 5th Ave.) along with Best Buy CEO Brad Anderson. At that time, there was little consumer excitement about the retail launch of Vista.
