On June 21, 1979 - 50 years after the original flight L.A.M.P.<br><br> (Lutheran Association of Missionaries & Pilots) re-enacted the flight and involved Denny May & Bob Horner (sons of the original pilots) along with Les Stahlke, Executive Director of L.A.M.P. and Edmonton Flying Club Manager Russ Janzen - aircraft used included the Fleet Finch (now at Wetaskiwin), a L.A.M.P. Cessna 185 and an Edmonton Flying Club Cessna 172.<br><br> In 2002 Historic Aviation Services of Wetaskiwin completed the replica of the Avro cAvian d that was used on the original flight. This aircraft is currently at the Alberta Aviation Museum in Edmonton and will eventually go to it 9s permanent home at Fort Edmonton.
