Most of her career has been spent working with the Oc- cupational Licensing Programs.<br><br> For a short period, Mary trans- ferred to an automation support team gaining experience in sys- tems design and development. Mary used this experience to con- vert Occupational team gaining experience in system design and development. Mary used this experience to convert Occupational Licensing 9s massive filing systems into a paperless storage proc- ess and participates in Department projects to increase the use of computerized processes.<br><br> In 1997, Mary returned to Occupational Licensing to manage the Field Inspections Program and became Occupational Licensing 9s Branch Chief in October 2003. Louise Lockett 4Manager, Registration and Titling Policy Unit Louise was a Manager III in the Registration and Titling Policy Unit and an employee of that department for 27 years. Louise started at DMV when she was a student at Luther Burbank High School.<br><br> As a member of the Regional Occupational Program, she was as- signed to work for school credits, at DMV. Upon graduation from high school, she went to college and worked as a Permanent Inter- mittent, at DMV, for two years. She was hired as an Office Assis- tant General, permanent full time in 1979.<br><br> Twenty-six of her 27 years at DMV has been spent in the Registration Operations Divi- sion making vehicle registration her area of expertise. Louise has served as a Subject Matter Expert in court cases and has made presentations, regarding California vehicle registration, to delegates from South Africa, China, and representatives from Australia. She has also made presentation to The California Truck- ing Association, the Lien Sale Industry, and various other state agencies.<br><br> She has served in the capacity of Project lead for major registration projects for the Department. She is a dedicated mem- ber of Toastmasters International and spends much of her free time mentoring other employees and high school students.
