Mitsubishi Electric 9s Java"-based Platform Controller enables real-time information management San Francisco, California- July 11, 2005: Mitsubishi Electric Automation, a global supplier of factory automation equipment, and Silicon Valley based ASTA Systems, Inc., announced the release of F2, a suite of web application services designed to support supply chain optimization between trading partners in the semiconductor industry. The F2 suite of services is based on Mitsubishi Electric 9s Java"-based Platform Controller (JPC), a real-time information gateway, capable of collecting data from multiple sources and communicating directly to enterprise level applications in a common message format.
The JPC collects and forwards data from various points in the supply chain to ASTA Systems F2 Internet-based transaction gateway, creating real-time visibility and status information.
