found myself working longer hours at the hospital, and I felt very stuck in my situation. I enjoyed my nursing career, but I felt so ready for a change. Arbonne came into my life in May of 2006, when my daughter, ERVP Tracy Alger, began her business.

She told me that this could be a way for me to build a potential stream of income that would eventually allow me to reduce my hours at the hospital. delivery for ten years, and for the last three years I kept trying to think of something that I could do that would not be so draining, both physically and emo- tionally. Every avenue in nursing meant more hours, more weekends and ultimately, less freedom. I had often dreamt of opening a small business of my own, but the start-up costs and the long hours kept me from doing that. I knew that I wanted to make enough money so I could vacation with my family and travel in my retirement years. I also knew that I did not want to lock myself into someone else 9s schedule. I wanted complete freedom over my schedule, but I did not know how to achieve it. I can remember all the conversations that I had with my husband that started with csomeday. d Someday, we would buy a beauti- ful home on a lake that our kids and grandchildren could come to. Someday we would take fabulous trips through Europe. Someday, we would explore the countries of South America. Someday, we would be able to give back to the world through mission trips abroad. In April of 2005, my husband retired from the airlines after a 36- year career. It was then that I realized that csomeday d was now. My husband and I found ourselves facing a new chapter in our life. We had dreamed of a retirement filled with adventure, travel and win- ters spent in beautiful, warm climates, but that was not our reality. I did not know how I would be able to fit one more thing into my busy schedule, but I trusted Tracy. I knew if she could find time to build this business, I could find the time as well. I began my journey with Arbonne in May, just a week after Tracy. I jumped in with both feet and worked my business like my retirement depended on it, because it did! I had no background in network marketing. Initially, I thought that since the Arbonne SuccessPlan was so simple, the work would be easy. I quickly found out that it was not easy. However, I had such a grounded belief in myself and in Arbonne from the beginning that I did not let anyone or anything stop me. I spent the summer telling everyone I knew about this amazing skin care line and this unbe- lievable opportunity. I also told everyone that I would be driving a new Mercedes-Benz by the fall. The summer flew by and I kept my focus on my goal. I promoted to RVP in September. Even though I always knew that I could do anything I put my mind to, I am still amazed at the success that my team and I have seen in this business. Arbonne has truly been a gift in my life.
