Ordering Information Calling 800 554 4133 is still the fastest way to get an order in. BP 9 s staff is not on commission, so if you have a question you can trust their recommendations. They get paid the same way if you give them your order or we refer you to someone else.
No other Land Rover parts distributor in the US can make that claim. If the number is busy please try again: we spend as much time on the phone as you require. The busiest times are early morning and lunch time.
Afternoons are usually easier to get through. That 9s up to 7:00 PM eastern. You can also place an order on-line by going here: http://www.landroverparts.us/salesform.html This is a secure connection (although it doesn 9t look like it if you know how those things work) and your order will be confirmed by e-mail during normal business hours.
We are not automated (costs too much) and a real person looks over every order to make sure you get the right part and everything you need for the job. We 9re not Amazon.com, we 9re better: you talk to real people. We will also accept an order by fax: 661 257 ... more.

9765 Shipping Options We ship within the US and to APO-FPO 9s only.

No overseas orders, please! We use UPS and US Postal Service for most of our orders. Priority Mail is fast and reliable on items under 5 lbs.

Over 5 pounds UPS Ground is usually cheaper. We also prefer to ship UPS on high dollar items regardless of weight. We offer Orange (3-day) Blue (2-day) and Red (overnight) services at extra cost.

We can also use FedEx on request. We will ship by the customers request where possible. Orders must be in by 2:00 PM Pacific (5:00 Eastern) for same day shipping.

Large items that require truck freight can be quoted before dispatch. You can also 8will call 9 any item for pick up at our Valencia facility at no charge. Item Pricing We base our prices on actual landed costs, which means they change frequently.

Other places that print paper catalogs with printed prices often inflate their prices to accomodate fluctuations. The way we do it is harder but it usually results in you getting a lower price. There are two ways to check prices on line.

You can use the 8 Price Lookup 9 feature by clicking the button on the left column of our home pages. Once opened this can be used on any page on any web site so that you can easily compare prices. Make sure the brands or quality level are the same before making a decision based on price.

Sometimes the lookup feature can be a little slow, depending on your connection. You can also download our PDF Price List , which is updated monthly. It can be found on the home page of any catalog.

Can 9t find it in the cat alog? Please ask! The air system moved the shock to the outside, which was required for the air springs, but doesn't work well with coils.

Relocating them back to where they belong improves the shock geometry and assures firm control in both on and off road situations. The shocks are also the suspension limiter: using the longer air suspension shocks will result in unseated springs in certain off road conditions, or when the vehicle is lifted on a side post hoist. BP's complete kit includes matching Emu gas shocks: these are valved to match the springs, so that the ride doesn 9t get too stiff or harsh.

They are single acting, providing their effort on extension rather than compression, allowing the coils to absorb the impact. Other brands of stiff gas shocks, such as Bilsteins, will defeat the carefully calculated spring rates, and provide a harsher ride. New bump stops are available separately, which are shorter and heavier duty than for the air spring setup, and more appropriate for coil springs.

We provide the spring isolator rings, which prevents the squeaks and groans of metal to metal contact. Not shown in the picture are the small washers, spacers, and lock screws that are also supplied to complete the job. If your Range Rover is overheating, there is something wrong: it is NOT due to an inefficient system.Your aluminum engine does not like to get hot, so proper maintenance is essential.

There are common problems found in older Range Rovers that can cause them to run hot. One is a failed viscous fan coupling. Another is the failure of the electric fan relays or sensors.

And increasingly common are clogged radiator cores, due to infrequent coolant changes. Change the coolant once a year without fail to maintain the right ph balance, and the belts and hoses every 3-5 years. Broken belts and blown hoses can quickly ruin your motor.

A good system will run cool in the hottest weather.
