www.idfpr.com MEMORANDUM TO: Real Estate Brokers Licensed After 4/30/06 FROM: IDFPR Real Estate Education Section DATE: June 1, 2007 RE: Broker Management Continuing Education Course The Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) records indicate your real estate broker license was issued between 5/1/06 and 5/31/07. Pursuant to Section 5/70(b) of the Real Estate License Act of 2000, brokers licensed on or after 5/1/06 are required to take the six hour Broker Management Continuing Education Course within 180 days of being issued a license. Due to the fact that the Broker Management Continuing Education Course has not been available until recently, IDFPR is allowing brokers licensed during this timeframe to meet this requirement by completing this course within 180 days from the date of this memorandum.
