Martinez began her career in 2000 as a trust department assistant for The Bank & Trust of Puerto Rico in San Juan and has more than six years of experience as a credit analyst with RG Premier Bank of Puerto Rico and First Business Financial Services, Inc. of Madison, Wisconsin.

Martinez, who has a strong academic background in management and finance, earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration with a major in management, and an M.S. degree in Business Administration with a major in finance, from the University of Puerto Rico, where she graduated magna cum laude.

She is also a past volunteer with the American Red Cross and has served as a family advocate for Well-Child Clinics in Madison, Wisconsin.
