Since the Prime Rate has remained steady at 3.25%, most lenders have put a Floor Rate into place over the 22-month period. There were only 32% of the institutions that had a Floor Rate 22 months ago.<br><br> We saw an increase in late 2008, which has steadily been on the rise since that time. As of October 1, 2009, 70% of the institutions have put a Floor Rate into place.
