Hope our members en- joy the new TV. The bus to the Rivers Casino was another fine trip. I would like to thank Richard Iser for running the excursion and Jeff Harris for put- ting out the breakfast buffet and helping with the Ohio State - Michigan party which was planned by Erin O 9Rourke.

Well, winter is coming upon us fast.<br><br> Please, when it gets cold check on the elderly. I would like to thank all kitchen helpers again for their volunteer help and the fine job they are do- ing. The gift exchange will be a $20.00 - $25.00 gift. We had a wonderful time on Veteran 9s Day.<br><br> A special thanks to Rick Griffing for being our driver. A delicious assortment of hot and cold food offerings will be made available from 1:00 P.M. until 5:30 P.M.<br><br> plus holiday music from our jukebox. The Lodge will close promptly at 6:00 P.M. to allow our employees to spend time with their famiies.<br><br> The Lodge will be closed Christmas Day. Sun., December 1 Bill Scudier Band New Year 9s Eve.<br><br> Again this year our entertainment commit- tee has been able to provide sufficient funds to allow us to provide free food and entertainment for our members and W.O.T.M. members attending our annual New Year 9s Eve celebration. Member guests will be charged $10.00.<br><br> Seating is on a first come basis - no re- served seating. So come on out for a good food, good entertainment and good fellow- ship to ring in the New Year! Let 9 start this month by saying congratula- tions to our two new Moose Legion mem- bers Paul Monroe and Bob Dufey, Sr.<br><br> Let 9s all make them feel welcome. These men were former Legion members. Way to go guys.<br><br> But, let 9s not stop there. We still need more members at our Lodge and the East Ohio Moose Legion. Let 9s not forget our spaghetti dinner on Dec.<br><br> 12. The Legion is also going to provide some entertainment for that evening. So everyone come and enjoy themselves.<br><br> Once again it will cost $3.00 for Legionnaires and $5.00 for non Legionnaires. We also have Legionnaire Happy Hour every 2nd Wednesday of the month. If you would come in for just two drinks at $1.75, that would save you any equal amount and in one year you 9d save you $91.00.<br><br> Well worth the $15.00 for one year 9s dues. And with the other savings we will have throughout the year you will come out way ahead. With the application fee waived un- til the end of December, that 9s another $10.00 in savings.<br><br> So now is the time to join! A Polar Bear Plunge meeting is being held at the Cort- land Moose Lodge on Sat., Dec.<br><br> 12th at 3:00 P.M . This meeting is for anyone who wants to be involved with the cplunge d and volunteering help. Please fell free to attend.<br><br> We are now copartners with Cortland Moose. We will host the cwarm up d party this year and they will host it next year. This will help us grow bigger and better to ben- efit our Moose State designated charity, the Ohio Special Olympics.<br><br> Also this year after the plunge is over, Saturday evening those interested will be going to Cortland for an evening of fun. Next year we will be at Trumbull on Saturday evening.
