The gifts, announced today at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts, represent the vitality of the Pittsburgh regional arts and cultural landscape and convey the key role it plays in our region's high quality of life. The unique items vary from: art glass in Pittsburgh's signature black and gold colors, custom-designed jewelry, and personalized Pittsburgh Penguins jerseys, to American Eagle Outfitters G-20 Tee shirts, CDs of local music legends and gourmet chocolate and biscotti.

The Pittsburgh Center for the Arts managed the assembly of the packages. In keeping with the region's reputation as a green leader, an emphasis was placed on the use of sustainable materials during the selection of the gift items as well as their packaging. "While the focus this week has been on our dramatic economic and environmental transformation, we are also a region that boasts a vibrant, and world-class arts community," said Allegheny County Executive Dan Onorato. "We are proud to share the diverse talents of the people in our region and offer unique and personal gifts to the world leaders who have traveled to Southwestern Pennsylvania for this historic event.<br><br> I want to thank everyone who took part in the creation and collection of these gifts."
