A guide to accessing the World Almanac for Kids Database At Mamie Doud Eisenhower Public Library In Broomfield, CO Connecting to MDE Databases from outside the library: 1. Go to the library catalog website at www.broomfieldlibrary.com 2. Find the Online Resources/Databases link under the Databases menu on the left side of the screen and click to open.

3. Find World Almanac for Kids on the alphabetical list and click to open. 4.

Enter your name and Broomfield Library card number when prompted. 5. You should now be able to navigate World Almanac.

The World Almanac for Kids Database This database indexes articles from newspapers and magazines. Search by typing in keywords or choosing a subject heading. Link to special sections for biographies and pictures from the main page.

Reference tools such as an almanac, encyclopedia, dictionary and thesaurus are also available from this site. Questions?
