Many do think or know that Christianity is all about going to church on Sundays, being baptized, taking communion, being a part of a group in church, paying church contributions, etc. All of these are good but if done because they qualify you as a Christian or because they are what prove you are a Christian then you are extremely mistaken.<br><br> What qualifies you, as a Christian is your relationship with Jesus the Christ, the person from whom the adjective Christian is derived. To be recognized by God as His child and servant, you need to walk like Jesus, talk like Jesus, think like Jesus, laugh like Him and in fact be like Him. Oops, you 9ll say, how can one be like Jesus?<br><br> It is possible beloved, He said it is possible just read, John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: and, John 14:12 ¶Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. These Scriptures and the above sited one show us that we can be like Jesus and do even more than what He did while here on Earth. He has made provision for the power we need to be like Him.<br><br> Do you now see that it is your fault not to be able to walk like Jesus? TRUE CHRISTIANITY What is Christianity? It is not a religion as the world teaches.<br><br> It is not a group of people who go to church as some think. It is not the act of having been baptized and taking part in the Lord 9s Supper. Christianity is a lifestyle; the lifestyle of Jesus the Christ.<br><br> We can trace the only mention of the adjective, Christian, in Acts chap. 11:26 where because of the Christ-like life the disciples lived they were called Christians. Christianity is a lifestyle accented by a step 3 by 3 step daily walk in the paths of Jesus as recorded in His Holy Word.<br><br> For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: 1 Peter 2:21. Why true Christianity? Really there is no false Christianity but the world with it 9s master the devil are doing all to ensure that people stay in darkness and get to hell through wrong representations of Christianity.<br><br> The devil has so polluted the minds of the people and since the pleasures in sin is still sweet to some, they embrace the devil 9s definition of Christianity. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. You may have the most anointed pastor or reverend but your life is in the gates of hell itself.<br><br> You need to accept Jesus in your life as Lord and Savior then you 9ll experience what real or true Christianity is. I want to assure you that true Christianity is very sweet and extremely satisfying. Living a true Christian life, you benefit of many things from God.<br><br> Just get a glimpse of what you are missing; For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? 1 Peter 3:12 - 1 Peter 3:13 (KJV).<br><br> Watch out what the Word says about the devil and his threats, 1 John 4:4 ¶Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. Just see God by your side, what are you afraid of? Romans 8:31 ¶What shall we then say to these things?<br><br> If God be for us, who can be against us? Friend, you need to think twice before you live anyhow. The devil is very wicked; don 9t allow him to destroy you with lies.<br><br> Accept Jesus the Christ in your life and see the goodness of God. Think over these words and make the right decision for your life. God bless you as you decide the path that will lead you to God or to the devil but I pray you 9ll take that to God.<br><br> You can then pray this prayer. Lord Jesus, I have been a disgrace to you for so long now, I repent. Please forgive and cleanse me from my unrighteousness.<br><br> I make up my mind today to serve you as never before, to fully represent you here on Earth and to live a life pleasing to you my Father. Come into my heart and transform me into the person you want me to be. I give you control over my entire life; I want to live for You and for You alone.<br><br> Lead me to a place where I will be taken care of for my spiritual growth.
