Matters fully came to a head mid-September, when Kucinich not only was the sole member of Congress to vote against a resolution commemorating the victims of 9/11, but also appeared on Syrian TV, al Jazeera and other Middle East networks giving aid and comfort to our enemies.

The situation for our County and for our region is dire, and now more than ever we need effective representation in the US Congress. Instead we have an individual representing us in Washington who fails to acknowledge even the basic tenets of human decency, let alone demonstrate any respect or understanding of the principles upon which our nation was founded. It is not even a question of political party affiliation for one to be confounded by Kucinich 9s failure to support the 9/11 Commemoration resolution 3 even Nancy Pelosi voted for it!

What exactly did he vote against? Well, the resolution, H. Res.

643 not only continued our national recognition of September 11th as a day of remembrance, it went on in its entirety to: " Extend sympathy to the victims and their families, friends and loved ones " Honor the heroic service and sacrifice of first responders and volunteers " Express thanks to those foreign nations who have stood with us " Reject any effort to confuse the war on terrorism with a war on any people or faith " Honor the heroic service of our Armed Forces and their families for their sacrifice " Resolve to defeat terrorists and their supporters who threaten the United States " Honor all who have lost their lives in this struggle " Reaffirm the commitment to defend the people of the United States With which point in that litany does Kucinich disagree? His only explanation was to say that the resolution was incomplete for failing to rip into the Bush Administration over Iraq. That 9s right, Kucinich 9s delusional ego makes him so desperate to win political points in his Presidential pursuit that he would fail to honor our servicemen and women, our allies, our safety forces and our dead.

He refuses to resolve to defeat terrorism or to commit to defending the people of the United States. But what was far worse was Kucinich 9s appearance on Syrian TV, since replayed on al Jazeera and throughout the Middle East 3 Why not? It makes for great propaganda.

For in that now infamous interview, Kucinich made it clear that he was visiting not simply as a member of Congress, but as a man who (in his mind alone) would be President. His self-avowed purpose was to influence the foreign policy of a genocidal Syrian leader towards the United States and its allies. It was not enough for Kucinch to snub our troops and malign our nation, he went so much further by praising terrorists and those who support them.

It is clear though that it is up to the Republicans to offer a better choice to the voters. Certainly Pelosi, she of her own misguided visit to Syria this year that stopped just barely short of Kucinich 9s praise of and fawning over our enemies, cannot be expected to censure Kucinich and kick him out of the Democratic caucus 3 which would be the least he deserves. Or can she?

At our new website, www.recalldennis.com , we ask the Ohio Legislature to support an effort to request the Pelosi-led Congress to expel Kucinich and let the 10th Ohio District elect a new Representative immediately. You can go to the site to sign on to the cause. Regardless, the voters will have their say, whether sooner or later.

Kucinich made our town a joke three decades ago by driving us to default. Now he is perpetrating that joke upon our nation and the world. Who will step forward to tell Kucinich the joke is over?

For more information on these and other local events visit our website: cuyahogacountygop.com Page 2 Volume 3, Issue 3RPCC Page 3 Lakewood Councilman Ryan Patrick Demro won 9t be running for re-election this year; instead, he has chosen to take on the necessary task of challenging Democratic Mayor Tom George. cIt is clear to me that this election will be about a candidate who has a real vision, who has demonstrated real leadership, and who has produced real results. d Demro said. According to Demro, this year 9s election is focused on crime, housing, and taxes.

Demro believes that, cLakewood voters want a mayor who is focused on quality of life. d Raised in Lakewood, Ryan is a graduate of Lakewood High School, holds a B.A. in Political Science from Capital University and an M.A. in Education from Ursuline College.

Demro is a licensed teacher and works for Life Skills Center, a charter school for at-risk kids in the City of Cleveland. The voters of North Royalton must choose a mayor who will be influenced and directed solely by the best interests of its citizens.

My record in service to this city clearly shows that I am the best candidate in that regard, d said Bobulsky.
