Congratulations on the purchase of the most incredible hunting dog blind you will ever own! The FINISHER ® DOG BLIND was designed by a team of waterfowl hunters and dog trainers that is responsible for some of the most innovative and durable hunting products available. When used as instructed, your Finisher ® Dog Blind offers a functional, compact and highly effective field blind for your dog that is low-profile, durable and easily transported and stored.

Your Finisher ® Dog Blind can help make field hunting with your dog a highly successful and enjoyable experience so please follow these instructions for its optimal performance and long life. DIRECTIONS FOR USE Your FINISHER ® Dog Blind is ready to use right out of the box! If you follow the directions below, set-up and takedown will be very simple.

The tips on customizing your blind were included for your maximum enjoyment of the product. Step 1 Allow the legs to unfold naturally with the Camo Cover facing upward as shown in Photo 1. Step 2 With a firm grip around the female section of the Knuckle Assembly , pull hard on the rope handle as shown in Photo 2.

Make sure that the male piece (attached ... more. less.

to the end of the rope) is lined up with the female part of the Knuckle Assembly so that they slide together evenly. Pull up on the rope and push away on the Knuckle Assembly at the same time until you hear and feel an obvious "click." This sound assures you that the Knuckle Assembly is engaged and in place. Step 3 Lock the Knuckle Assembly in place by wrapping the Safety Strap over the Frame Rod and connecting the plastic Safety Hook back to the S upport Spoke as shown in Photo 3.

Step 4 Secure the Top Canopy in place by attaching the Plastic Hooks to the Cord Loops as shown in Photo 4. When completed, your Finisher ® Dog Blind should resemble the blind in Photo 5. CUSTO MIZING YOUR FINISHER ® DOG BLIND Here a few tips for the maximum performance of your blind: 1.

Train your dog to use the Finisher ® Dog Blind prior to the first time you hunt him/her out of it. It will take very little time for your dog to become comfortable with the blind. 2.

It is very important that you "mud" your Finisher ® Dog Blind before using it! This process will eliminate sheen caused by the new polyester fabric. To "mud" the cover, place several shovels of dirt (indigenous to your hunting area) into a bucket of warm water and mix thoroughly.

After creating a thick and wet mud, smear the mixture over the blind's Camo Cover (including the main fabric, Mesh Windows and CamoStraps TM ) and rub it into the grain of the fabric. Allow the cover to sun dry for several hours and then briskly sweep the dried residue from the blind's cover with a broom. Now your Finisher ® Dog Blind should have a dull, matte finish.

You are ready to go to the field! 3. Effectively stubbling your Finisher ® Dog Blind will greatly enhance your hunting success.

When you reach your hunting location, gather a good supply of natural vegetation that is indigenous to that area (if you are hunting in a cut cornfield, use corn stalks; in a cut barley field, use barley stubble, etc.) Place handfuls of this vegetation into the CamoStraps TM . You may not need to fill every CamoStrap TM , but you should cover the blind as completely as possible. YOU CANNOT USE TOO MUCH NATURAL VEGETATION!

4. Always use the Corner Anchors (regardless of wind) to keep the Finisher ® Dog Blind facing the direction you desire. A dog's entering and exiting the blind can cause it to face an undesirable direction, and the anchors assure that your dog is always facing your intended direction.

Simply extend the elastic strap on each anchor until it is taut and push the anchor into the ground at a slight angle facing toward the blind. 5. To avoid mold, mildew and unpleasant odors, make sure to allow your Finisher ® Dog Blind to dry thoroughly before storing it.

Please feel free to contact us at 800 333-5119 should you have any questions about the operation and/or care of your FINISHER ® Dog Blind.
