Outdoor PA Instructions for Use Introduction This PA System has been designed to mix up to 6 separate mono inputs (microphones etc. as well as one stereo input from a CD or tape player. The horn speakers are waterproof however the amplifier needs to be kept in a dry place with a mains supply.

Village Outreach can also supply microphones (wired, radio, handheld or lapel), and microphone stands if required. If you have any problems with setting it up which cannot be resolved by reading the instructions on the following pages then please call us on 01588 630097. faulty leads or switches) then please tell us when you return the equipment so we can fix them before hiring it out to another customer. Plug the distribution box jack plug into either of the speaker sockets at the rear of the amplifier and connect the mains supply.<br><br> Mains in Distribution box plugs in either socket Mains in Distribution box plugs in either socket 4. Each speaker cable is plugged into the speaker distribution box. Note that the picture shows two speakers connected in positions 1 & 2.<br><br> The other two speakers should be plugged in 3 & 4. Do not use 1 on it 9s own or 1&3 or 2&4 as these combinations won 9t work. 5.<br><br> The microphone leads can be plugged into any of the six sockets on the front of the amplifier. Make sure the cgain d control (Volume) is turned right down. Microphone Volume Pad Switch out Leave these controls in the upright position Microphone Volume Pad Switch out Leave these controls in the upright position 6.<br><br> Turn the master level control shown below to about the half way position. The PA is now ready for use. Switch it on (switch at top right hand corner of the front) and check the red power on light on the front panel comes on.<br><br> Ensure the switch on the microphone is on, turn up the microphone volume until you can hear yourself through the speakers. If you hear a Loud Screech this indicates you have the microphone volume too high which induces feedback. Turn down the volume and/or move the microphone so it is not directly in front of a speaker.<br><br> Now it is working adjust the master level so the volume is right for your event, only one of the two master volume controls will have any effect depending on which socket you plugged the speakers into at the rear. You will notice that the speakers are designed to be listened too at a distance so get someone to stand where the audience will be whilst you adjust the master level. Once this has been set leave it alone.<br><br> More microphones can be plugged in channels 2-6 the volume of each can be independently allowing you to mix different inputs together. 7. Adding a Tape or CD Player.<br><br> Channels 1-6 are mono, i.e. one source. Channel 7 has two line inputs so you can plug the left and right channels of a stereo system into the amplifier which will be combined to give a mono output through the speakers.<br><br> You can use either the phono sockets or the ¼ jack sockets. Set both level controls to mid position Set both level controls to mid position 8. Radio Microphone If you wish to use the radio microphone from Village Outreach the output from the radio receiver should be plugged into a cLine Input d socket.<br><br>
